I met so many fabulous, inspirational people through my photography business this year. I travelled far and wide to so many interesting places; I shot conferences, award ceremonies, exhibitions, countless beautiful, happy weddings, was appointed project photographer for the Heritage Lottery Funded ‘History and Conservation of the Pump Room Gardens’, I appointed a brilliant photographic assistant whose creative shots perfectly compliment my own, gained and retained many new and existing clients, learnt Twitter, opened a fabulous photographic studio in Leamington, photographed a Page 3 girl, ran a children’s photography studio at Touchwood, Solihull, photographed the Warwick St. George’s Day Parade and the Warwick Victorian Evening for the Town Centre Manager and photographed the Leamington Lantern Parade and the Mayor of Warwick’s Charity Fashion Show. Liz Drake Photography also won contracts to provide landscape and architectural photography, photographed the Leamington Peace Festival and celebrated my son’s 11th and daughter’s 3rd birthday. Wow!
Liz Drake Photography also became a recommended wedding photographer at the simply stunning Compton Verney, Guys Cliffe House, Warwick and Warwick House, Southam. And Liz Drake Photography was shortlisted for the brilliant Local Business Accelerator Awards!
2012 sees further growth and a web site rebrand focusing on weddings and commercial photography and the launch of my other business www.lovewarwick.co.uk, promoting Warwick as a one-stop wedding town. I’ve yet to loose the two stone in weight I keep promising myself I will. Maybe 2012 will be the year! Join me in my journey! Love, Liz x

I was impressed with the care taken and once the arches were removed, the Pump Room Gardens lost a significant visual feature. I can’t wait to see the replacemnt arches installed. It will look fantastic.
